Among the city’s potential areas, New CG Road is the per fect destination that could offer plenty of returns within the next couple of decades. New CG Road, by far, has emerged as one of the fastest, busiest realty sectors in the entire Ahmedabad district.Though primarily a business hub, it comprises of a number of residential and housing societies. Located between Ahmedabad and the state capital, this ideal locality is witnessing a gradual change in terms of real estate. Furthermore, its improved accessibility to other city areas via six-lane Visat-Gandhinagar Highway is another plus point.

Prakash Singh, a local cloth merchant, says, “This Road (New CG Road) is a popular spot not because of ONGC office alone, but because of the Motera Cricket Stadium. The area is peaceful, neat and green and therefore, there arises no question of any traffic congestion.“

This road is a happening place for professionals, those of whom are working in IT companies.

A majority of them prefer to reside in this locality as their offices are located in the Gandhinagar IT Park.

“In addition, the area is connected to Sabarmati Railway Station and BRTS bus service, all within close distance,“ he adds.

Offering a wide range of options, over two dozen residential complexes are coming up here.

Since the area is on city outskirts, residents living in flatsapartments have something to cheer about as they no longer have to live in a congested environment.

Both, integrated townships and residential plots are fast catching up, thereby providing a major impetus to the realty market. Some of the prominent builders have their projects lined up here, with amenities like swimming pools, gymnasiums, etc.The properties in this area are anywhere between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 2 crore.
