The first phase of work has begun between Vastral and Thaltej. Gradually, it is expected to proceed and ease lives of Vastral dwellers. Mohit Shenai, a resident says, “We shifted to Vastral some five years back and find the area absolutely peaceful and green. With upcoming metro rail projects, we feel our decision of investing here was right since the prices have already started soaring up. Many people are even investing to seek advantage of inflation that shall hit the area post functioning of metro. All in all, Vastral with tall standing buildings, open spaces, party plots and multistoreyed structures is the area that offers affordable living at its best.“
Anant Nikte, a resident, says, “Vastral is an emerging area and we are happy that we chose this place as with smart city transformation and development this area is immensely expected to flourish and reap back good returns.“
Sharing his view, another resident of Vastral, Tushar Pansare, avers, “We took time to get used to the extra travel time we have to adjust staying here, but barring that such peaceful, green, airy and spacious spot is rare to find in the metro city.“
