Market trends in the country indicate that the recently announced Brexit decision will have a short-term effect on the globe – in India too, its effect will be felt, but only for a short term, as experts say….
Brexit will not have much of an impact on realty in India, as the market leasing for office spaces is dependent only by around 5 to 7 per cent of the total on U K –headquartered companies. But due to the situation, investors might just prefer to wait and watch. Though the year 2016 was looking up for the globe and for India as a whole the Brexit impact will goad people to let off steam for a while. Investments might not happen for some time, till an appropriate level of clarity emerges.
After having exited the EU realty locations such as Greece or Spain may no longer be attractive avenues of investments. This way, India could stand to benefit.
The real estate in India, therefore, will continue to recover on the foundation of a strong Indian economy and capital inflows.
